As stated in its mission statement, DCA is guided by the Ministry of Transport's mission to administer and regulate the aviation industries'. Hence its main function is to ensure that air transportation systems that are performed by direct service providers are always safe for the end users.
Products and Services
There are 6 airports in various locations in Sarawak, which operate from Fokker 50 up to B747 aircraft. Malaysia Airport Berhad (MAB) is authorised under licence by the government to establish, maintain and operate these airports subject to terms and conditions prescribed in their contracts.

All STOLs (Short Take-Off / Landing) aerodromes / airfields are built to accommodate small fixed wing and helicopter operations of the rural air services. Aerodrome Flight Information Service (AFIS) is provided at STOL aerodromes / airfields where traffic density does not justify the implementation of a fully Aerodrome Control Unit.
