Profile

 

The Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia Region III Sarawak is a government agency responsible to provide Air Traffic Services, enforcement of Airport Standards, planning and supervise the development of Air Traffic Control System and airport facilities within Sarawak.

 

Mission

  • Ensure that the enforcement and regulatory meet the standard and the needs of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Malaysian Civil Aviation Act 1969 and Malaysian Civil Aviation Regulation 1996.

  • Provide the latest infrastructure and services of civil aviation parallel with the needs and growth of the country.

  • Provide safe, efficient, effective and orderly flow of Air Traffic Service.

  • Provide assistant services and regulate all civil aviation activities to all civil aviation agencies and airport service.

 

Objective

  • Carry out the duty on regulatory functions in respect of the airport standard and the civil aviation services with the establishment of regulatory and enforcement in the civil aviation industries.

  • Represent government in the civil aviation conferences.

  • Maintain and ensure the safe and orderly growth of Malaysian Civil Aviation.

  • Encourage the development of Airways, Airports and Air Navigation Facilities for Malaysian Civil Aviation.

  • Ensure the airport operations and other civil aviation services that conducted by licensed company are operating efficiently and meet the standard of the Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation.
