The Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia Region III Sarawak is a government agency responsible for providing Air Traffic Services, enforcement of Airport Standards, planning and supervising the development of Air Traffic Control System and airport facilities within Sarawak.
Mission

- Ensure that the enforcement and regulatory meet the standard and the needs of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Malaysian Civil Aviation Act 1969 and Malaysian Civil Aviation Regulation 1996.

- Provide the latest infrastructure and services of civil aviation parallel with the needs and growth of the country.

- Provide safe, efficient, effective and orderly flow of Air Traffic Service.

- P rovide assistant services and regulate all civil aviation activities to all civil aviation agencies and airport service.

Objectives
To carry out the regulatory and enforcement functions on the airport operations and other civil aviation services.
Represent the government in the civil aviation conferences.
Maintain and ensure the safe and orderly growth of Malaysian Civil Aviation.
Encourage the development of Airways, Airports and Air Navigation Facilities for Malaysian Civil Aviation.
Ensure that airport operations and other civil aviation services conducted by licensed companies are operating efficiently and meet the standards of the Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation.
